“Justify” was created by Sherry Smith, a Mississippi Gulf Coast Artist. This painting shows Justify running for the win at the 144th Kentucky Derby, and ultimately the Triple Crown.  Completely unhampered by the sunless sky and rainy weather. While created with detailed realism this painting also has an almost folk-like feel. Movement is achieved with splattering mud, flowing mane, and tail.
